Your team will be introduced to rational criteria, frameworks, and tools to guide decision-making, realize strategic innovation goals, respond to change, and achieve maximum impact.

Innovation Governance
and Funding

The certainty of now offers better short-term returns and lower risk, which makes change difficult. To ensure your organization’s longevity, you need to develop the structures, rules, and expectations that guide teams as they build what’s next.

In this sprint, your team will learn to effectively manage the friction between now and next with Next Boards, Next Advocates, Next Rules and Operating Principles for intrapreneurs, funding models, option value, and more.

  • Opportunity Portfolio Rebalancing and Resourcing

Innovation Readiness Assessment

The conditions for intrapreneurial success are often lacking or misunderstood, leading to missed goals, disillusionment with innovation, and reinforcement of the status quo. The team will take the Innovation Readiness Assessment to establish a baseline and to prioritize opportunities for innovation productivity improvement.

Sessions include:

  • Introduction to Innovation Readiness

  • Complete Assessment

  • Assessment and Booster Review

Sprint outcomes:

  • Understanding of the Next Cycle (the innovation development cycle against which readiness is determined)

  • Baseline metrics against which innovation system improvements can be measured

  • Recommended boosters that focus on areas for significant improvement
